Erica Passage is a maker living in Golden, Colorado with her partner and their sweet RezDog rescue Birdie.  When Erica is not making pottery she spends time riding her bike down dusty gravel roads and exploring the truly scenic byways throughout the Colorado Front Range.  Currently, she is the Cultural Programs and Studio Coordinator at the Washington Heights Arts Center with the City of Lakewood, CO

Erica creates porcelain, wheel-thrown, tableware that is fired to cone 6 in oxidation.  Her work uses repeating motifs and the exploration of cute in the mundane.  Captured in vintage Mayco glazes are fleeting moments that hover and move over the forms she creates. Her surfaces are formed by a layering of techniques such as mishima, sgraffito and underglaze decals.
